Shortly after departing Fallon, I got the opportunity to direct this wild series for MTV through my own shingle, Uncle Forehead Filmworks. It was three films for their Control Freak series — which was a sort of Choose Your Own Adventure type program. For Buddy Lee, each film was ten minutes long (each with three different endings). Produced on super 16mm, they were produced over a 13 day period all over Minnesota.
